Call for candidates for the CNRS bronze and silver medals 2027 - section 05
Every year the CNRS rewards the women and men who have contributed most significantly to raising the organisation’s profile and advancing French research and innovation.(voir cnrs.fr/fr/le-cnrs/distinctions).
The bronze medal rewards researchers in the early stages of their career whose work has established them as specialists in their field. This award is a form of encouragement from the CNRS to continue with ongoing research that has already proved successful.
The silver medal honours researchers for the originality, quality and importance of a body of work that is recognised nationally and internationally.
The section 05 committee, during the autumn session 2026 (from 19 to 21 October), will propose two candidates each for the attribution of the bronze and silver medals to the INP. Therefore we call for submissions from the entirety of the community – heads of labs, research networks, but also individual researchers and groups of collaborators.
