Welcome!
This website is not an official website of the CNRS. It is maintained by the members of the national committee of the (new) section 05 mandate 2021-2029. Its purpose is to disseminate information to the theoretical physics community.
Note that this year the sections have changed, this section corresponds largely to the previous section 2.
Subjects covered by the section:
- Particle physics, Standard Model physics and beyond, quantum chromodynamics, astroparticles, theories of gravitation, gravitational waves, cosmology.
- Mathematical physics, integrable systems, field theory, string theory.
- Strongly correlated systems, topological properties, quantum information, quantum fluids, out-of-equilibrium quantum systems.
- Statistical physics, disordered systems, complex systems, living systems, dynamical systems, hydrodynamics, non-equilibrium phenomena, fluids and plasmas.
- Numerical methods for physics, machine learning.
