The idea is to perform a systematic study and comparison of the ttbar plus jets process, using the available codes, in particular

  • ttbar+jet NLO (Dittmaier, Uwer, Weinzierl)
  • MC@NLO
  • POWHEG
  • ALPGEN
  • MADGRAPH
  • PYTHIA

We plan to systematically compare the codes using relevant distributions, understand and learn from observed differences.
