Postdoctoral positions in mathematical physics

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in mathematical physics at LPTHE, Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris 6).

The postdoctoral position is part of the ERC project ``Loop models, Integrability and Combinatorics''. The successful applicant is expected to work in the group of Dr Paul Zinn-Justin on some of the themes of the project, which is centered on quantum integrable models and their application to combinatorics and algebraic geometry.

Starting time is fall of 2013. The appointment is for two years. It will be funded by the European Research Council. Financial support will be available for travels.

Université Pierre et Marie Curie is right in the heart of Paris and close to many other research institutions, including Ecole Normale Supérieure and Institut Henri Poincaré.

Applications (including CV, list of publications and short description of research interests), as well as letters of recommendation, should be sent before Dec 31st, 2012 by e-mail to Dr Paul Zinn-Justin. Applicants are expected to have a PhD in mathematics or theoretical physics when the position starts.
