PhD studentship in mathematical physics

A PhD student is sought to work under the supervision of P. Zinn-Justin at LPTHE, Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris 6).

The PhD studentship is part of the ERC project ``Loop models, Integrability and Combinatorics'', which is centered on quantum integrable models and their application to combinatorics and algebraic geometry. Depending on his background, the student will work on one of the topics mentioned here.

Starting time is fall of 2012. Funding comes from the European Research Council and is for three years.

Université Pierre et Marie Curie is right in the heart of Paris and close to many other research institutions, including Ecole Normale Supérieure and Institut Henri Poincaré.

Applications (including CV, master's grades and letters of recommendation) should be sent by e-mail before May 31st, 2012 to Dr Paul Zinn-Justin:
