Bugs of FONLL form
- 09 Jan 2016 Fixed bug (introduced on 23/12/2015) preventing correct
selection of decay to electrons option. The form was simply returning the
results for B or D hadrons, without including the subsequent decay (thanks to
Zuman Zhang and to Denise Moreira de Godoy for reporting this issue)
- 12 Feb 2015: Fixed bug that caused the NLO central curve to be returned in
place of the FONLL one when cross sections were evaluated using a NNPDF pdf set,
and PDF errors were also requested (thanks to Hyunchul Kim for reporting this
issue)
- 6 Aug 2013: Fixed bug affecting non-default options for non-perturbative
fragmentation for charmed hadrons (thanks to Leonid Gladilin for
reporting this issue)
- 21 Jan 2013: The output file of the LHC 8 TeV option contained
the wrong labels ebeam1 = 7000, ebeam2 = 7000 (thanks to
Monica Pepe Altarelli for pointing this out).
This is now fixed. The data in the files were correct.
- 29 Mar 2010: The grids used to produced results for RHIC
turned out to be too coarse and produced unphysical
oscillations already at pt ~ 30 GeV (thanks to Mark Dirksen for pointing this
out). They have been replaced with finer ones, the results should now be
reliable up to pt ~ 30 GeV.
- 02 Jan 2008: While the form was being updated a small bug slipped
into it for a few minutes. It might have affected calculations involving
charm fragmentation into D mesons. If you
calculated something around this date, better double check it.
- 13 Nov 2007: An error which prevented calculation of cross sections with a
lepton in the final state was discovered (thanks
to Donald Hornback). If you tried to calculate such a cross section
before this date you have gotten instead the cross section for a given
c- or b-hadron, with no further decay. This is now fixed.
