updated: 28/04/2012
The school will be held at the Institut d'Études Scientifiques
de Cargèse (Corsica). The lectures and seminars will be given from
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 5 to 7 p.m. (except on Sunday) from June 5
till June 15 included. Participants must arrive by
June 4 in the afternoon and stay for the whole duration of the school. Departure
will take place on June 16.
TRAVEL :
The most convenient way to get to Cargese is by airplane to Ajaccio airport, via Paris, Marseille or Nice. There is a convenient Air France flight from Paris (Orly airport) leaving on June 4 at 12h55 PM and arriving in Ajaccio at 14h 30 PM.
A coach will pick up the participants around 15.15 PM and bring them to Cargese, where they will be directed to their housing. The same coach will be available for those arriving earlier, for instance by boat (the airport is not very far form the harbour). We strongly encourage particpants to chose this solution.
For those who cannot make it for this schedule, please, let us know and a solution will be proposed for your local transporation from Ajaccio to Cargese.
The departure from Cargese to Ajaccio will be organised on June 16 to reach the available flights in Ajaccio.
Caution:
International flights usually arrive to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (north of Paris). It is possible to reach Orly airport from CDG in about 1h 30 by taking the RER B line south to Antony, and using the Orlyval shuttle from Antony RER station to Orly. Alternatively, there are buses going directly from CDG to Orly, but time varies upon traffic.
